Is recovery possible? Carolyn Spring says it is … based not just on her own personal experience, but on the fact that it’s how our bodies and brains are designed by default. Often when people don’t recover, it’s a problem with the therapy or the ‘treatment’, rather than a problem with a person. In this thought-provoking podcast, Carolyn brings hope for healing.

This is a really helpful podcast which is balanced and fair. It encourages us most to think about pro-actively changing our outlook on recovery.

Very good to listen to today – caring for our inner child and showing self-compassion and self-protection is very important because of the excruciating injustices we have met in our lives and becoming the opposite of the trauma and being us not them. I really liked especially the physical body is in a process of tolerating enduring truly horrible traumatic injuries and then bravely arriving out the other side.
