Meet the team

Beth Bradnum

Beth Bradnum

Deputy Director

I joined the team in July 2020, having previously worked as a primary school teacher and then an operations manager at a charity. I love working with people and am especially passionate about supporting people through adversity and seeing lives transformed. One of my favourite quotes is: ‘Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.’ Brené Brown.

I love creating home, connecting with friends and family and going on adventures with my two curly kids! The sun and the sea are my soul food and a good mug of Scottish Blend is the water of life!

Engagement Manager

I was delighted to join the team in November 2020 to help increase engagement and bring Carolyn’s unique approach to reversing adversity to as wide an audience as possible.

Prior to this role, I was a Marketing Manager for two years and ran my own children’s clothing business for 7 years before that.

Outside of work, I care for my three primary-aged daughters, plus a dog, a kitten and a one-eyed cat thrown in for good measure!  I love spending time in the countryside around our home in Scotland, meeting new people, music and vintage fashion.

Joining Carolyn’s team has been a total joy and I feel uniquely privileged to do my own small bit to help others heal from trauma.

Luke Cawley

Digital Content Developer

My previous experience includes six years in customer-facing retail alongside studying for my A-Levels and obtaining my degree.

My current role is always growing and developing with each new week. When I joined the team in September 2017, I was an admin assistant who also helped out on live training days, but my potential was quickly realised and I soon began applying my degree knowledge to develop and improve the digital services that we offer as an organisation. Now my role sees me as a web developer one day, a videographer on another and a sound engineer on others.

I graduated from university in the summer of 2017 and moved back in to the family home just around the corner from the office, where I currently live with my parents and older sister.
